Fallow Deer Hunting Season: There are no seasonal restrictions, however we highly recommend Sept-Feb for an antlered Fallow.

Ox Ranch offers the beautiful and elusive Fallow Deer.  We have all three color varieties including Chocolate Fallow, Spotted Fallow, and White Fallow.  Our Fallow Deer are free ranging on over 18,000 acres of Texas Hill Country, creating a very challenging but rewarding hunt!

You may hunt our trophy Fallow Deer using any method you prefer, including Spot and Stalk, Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Pistol Hunting, Safari Style, or from a Blind.

• Fallow deer prefer to go under obstacles rather than jump over.
• The Romans helped spread fallow deer across Europe.
• During rut, it is common to find bucks limping, looking years older than their actual age, and appearing as if they won’t survive another day.
• Many Fallow die from fighting during rut!
