Ox Lodge

We have built a beautiful 6,000-square-foot lodge with a capacity of 250 guests inside and hundreds more outside. The Lodge’s massive stone fireplaces, antique bar, and vaulted log ceilings are mesmerizing. You may also enjoy the Lodge’s pool table, poker table, darts, shuffleboard, pinball machines, and Big Buck Hunter arcade game. The Lodge overlooks a glistening lake and is just a stone’s throw away from our antique cabins.

Ox Ranch has luxurious antique cabins that rival some of the nicest hotel rooms in the world! Most of our cabins have jacuzzi tubs, kitchenettes, and spacious living rooms. They are located just feet away from our beautiful lakes, with the exception of our Summit Cabin. Our Summit Cabin lies on top of a secluded mountain and has a view that is to die for! The Summit’s view stretches in all directions for miles and is best enjoyed from the private hot tub and pool!

Serengeti Restaurant (meals included with all-inclusive)

The Ox Ranch Serengeti restaurant provides range-to-table dining as you enjoy views of our Rhinos and other exotics located just feet away outside! Executive Chef, Kelly Daughety, is a genius at utilizing our wild game and the local bounty nature has to offer.

If you’re interested in a unique experience, you can all choose from our private Cave Dinners, Sunset dinners, or even cook a USDA Prime steak with a Vietnam era Flamethrower!

Kelly is a proud Texas Native with over 28 years of culinary experience. Kelly mentored under Texas cuisine pioneers Bruce Auden (Restaurant Biga/Biga on the Banks) & Mark Bliss (Bliss) before graduating from the Culinary Institute of America.

Kelly’s creations have been published in numerous cookbooks and featured in Texas monthly on nine occasions!

Most recently, the city of San Antonio selected Kelly to be Chef Ambassador for UNESCO. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization promotes world peace and security through international cooperation in education, arts, sciences, and culture.
